Despite Death Threat Jenni Rivera Does Not Up Security

"You are the next one to die." That was the message Mexican singer
Jenni Rivera received on her
Twitter page by the user identified as Zeettas.
Since then fans have responded with messages of support for '
La Diva de la Banda' in light of this chilling threat, but she herself stated that the matter is under investigation by the authorities, although she recognizes that "there are always people that want to pull pranks." In the last couple of weeks, the Mexican singer had been publishing messages on her Twitter page about her daughter Chiquis' new show on Mun2, the first episode of which will premiere this Saturday, July 3rd at 3pm (ET/PT).
The alarming streak of violence in Mexico has lately become of great danger for many artists, especially those who have musical performances, called as palenques, in the interior of the Mexican republic.

Not too long ago, the diva herself was caught amidst a shootout when she was beginning one of her concerts in Tampico, which she had to cancel. Jenni narrated the ordeal on Twitter saying that she had no other option but taking off her shoes and running so that she wouldn't be hit by bullets.
In light of all of this, the grupera star is still traveling and working with her same security team. She assured on her Twitter page that since the death of singer Valentin Elizalde, many artists have begun to receive death threats, especially among the genre of grupero music.
Do you think that Jenni should increase her security in light of her death threat?
Even so, last weekend, the grupero world mourned
the assassination of Sergio Vega "El Shaka" in Sonora, in the north of Mexico. Juan Sebastian, another one of Joan Sebastian's sons, was shot at a dance club in Cuernavaca, México, the second son the singer loses as a result of organized crime in the country. His son Trigo Figueroa was also killed at gunshots leaving a "El Rey del Jaripeo" concert in Texas.
Sergio Gómez, singer of the popular group K-Paz de la Sierra, Zayda Peña Arjona, Valentin Elizaide, known as "El Gallo de Oro", Adán Chalino Sánchez and his father Chalino Sánchez, are some of the grupero artists assassinated in México.

And I wouldn't blame anyone who wanted you investigated for saying something that thoughtless and inappropriate. That's hate speech, nothing more, nothing less. Would you think that would make it all right for someone to say you need to be shot, or would you wake up and pay attention for once?
