In an exclusive interview with Celestrellas, Jenni Rivera's oldest daughter, better known as "Chiquis," talked about a subject that she used to avoid in the past. After her mother decided to share her story on television, wounds have started to heal for this young girl who is also the manager of the grupero singer. But Chiquis not only shared her story with us: last weekend she also talked about it with her best friend Raq'C on the reality show on Mun2 in which both girls appear on every Saturday at 3 pm.
"My faith in God has helped me a lot. I am not very religious, but I am a very spiritual person (...). When the truth was revealed I felt better" said Chiquis to Celestrellas.
According to Jenni Rivera's testimony, her daughter suffered sexual abuse since she was 12 years old. For many years, and still today, her father's family has believed she is lying.
"It was very difficult. I always say that I am a survivor of sexual abuse. This idea helped me to teach my brothers that we can be strong, that nothing can make us fall," Chiquis firmly stated.
She said she has decided to share her story on TV because she knew that by doing it she could help other young ladies in the same situation.
Chiquis' father, Jose Trinidad Marin, was sentenced to more than 30 years of prison after being found guilty for the rape of his own daughter and his sister in law in 2006. The case was opened in 1997 and Trinidad, who had been a fugitive for several years, was arrested by the authorities. In that occasion, Jenni Rivera declared that seeing him again have reopened a wound that her family had been dealing with for long years.
"I don't wish bad things to anyone, but I do feel better now that I know that, sooner or later, justice has been found," said the artist in 2006 to Univision, very affected by the situation and all the pain that her ex-husband caused to her daughter.
Since life hasn't been easy for Chiquis, she knows that she is prepared to face any difficult situation if the good life that her mother is giving to her family ever comes to an end.
"I am not the kind of girl who sits and waits to see what happens. My mom and my grandmother have taught me how to work, how things are earned," stated Chiquis.
Jenni Rivera is one of the most successful grupero singers of the moment, but she still remembers when she was a single mother who depended on government food stamps to survive.
"Good times can always come to an end and you must be prepared to face any situation" concludes Chiquis.
Yeah, Chiquis got molested as a 12 year old child. Big Deal. We all know how much sympathy the Rivera's family has for sex offenders. Just take a look at Chiqui's brother Michael. This pervert just pleaded guilty to raping a 14 year old girl, and all he got was a fine and probation. Not to mention that he will not have to register as a sex offender. Chiquis got what she deserved. It's karma for all the vile perversions that her brother Michael has done to other young girls. may the whole jenni rivera family rot in hell.
What is wrong with you? Nobody deserves to suffer for someone else's crime. (And she got raped before whatever is going on with her brother so how is that even karma, dumbass?) Most importantly of all, nobody deserves to be raped. You should be ashamed of yourself.
your stupid. like she said what ever happened with her brother it was after she got raped. i guess you don't know how karma works. It's when something happens AFTER something has happened... not BEFORE....
