Jenni Rivera got married! We've got the full scoop
Jenni Rivera is finally Mrs Loaiza. As in a Mexican fairy tale, the banda singer was the princess of her fourth wedding with her baseball player Prince Charming, a big wedding dress, almost a thousand guests and even a carriage. She was only missing a fairy godmother, a pumpkin and little mice helpers - but of course she didn't need any of that.
The most-talked about Latino wedding of the season took place in Simi Valley, California, in an exclusive massive ranch and under strict security, making sure that no paparazzi or cameras could ruin this great moment for Jenni or her now husband Esteban Loaiza. Even though there are rumors that the singer sold the exclusive to People en Español magazine, it seems the couple really wanted their guests to have fun, get drunk or do whatever anyone wanted to do without the scrutiny of the media.
Everything was decorated with yellow roses and beige candles and in true Hollywood style, the bride arrived to the ranch by helicopter and was received by her team of makeup artist, hairstylist, image consultant and stylist. Upon entering the premises, guests were searched and had any cameras or cellphones taken away.
Guests were welcomed with tequila and Mexican appetizers, while La Original Banda El Limón played live in the background to make time go by faster.
Esteban Loaiza arrived at the ranch in a Rolls-Royce up to the chapel - which was especially designed for the occasion. Like a fairty tale princess, Jenni crossed the entire property in a horse-drawn carriage. She walked down the aisle with her father, Don Pedro Rivera, who gave her away at the altar. Even though a big white veil covered the bride, she was visibly excited, as so were her daughters and sisters, who were the bridesmaids. All in the family, the ceremony was officiated by Jenni's older brother, Pedro, who is a pastor.
At the end of the wedding, the happy couple was greeted by a mariachi group and hundreds of butterflies flying in the air, making for an even more magical moment. Then, all the guests moved to the huge white tent for the reception, where the enormous multi-layered cake and tables were also decorated in white and yellow.
Gloria Trevi,
Raúl De Molina,
Charytín,
Joan Sebastian, José Manuel Figueroa, Tito El Bambino, Mariana Seoane, Erika Garza, Ninette Ríos, Odalys García, Diana Reyes and of course her brother
Lupillo Rivera were just some of the many guests that shared this special moment with Jenni and Esteban.
The dinner menu was typically Mexican: enchiladas, mole chicken, tortillas and gorditas hand-made to order, Veracruz-style seafood, pozole and many more. Of course, tequila, wine and champagne could not be absent. Nor was the dancing, and singing, which lasted until the wee hours of the morning. Just like she dreamed of and like she planned it, Jenni had her fairy tale wedding, and just like a modern-day "Cinderella," she now has her Prince Charming and has become Mrs. Loaiza.
Congratulate Jenni and Esteban on their big day here.
