After participating in the Got Milk? ad campaign along with her son, Manolo, actress Sofía Vergara has now featured in a newer version with her mother, Margarita Vergara Dávila."Behind every great mom, there is always another. I always follow mom's great example. Serving milk every day is very important. Milk has essential nutrients to help form a strong family, such as protein and potassium. A mother's example can take you very far," the newest ad says.
The Colombian forms part of the refocused campaign with her mom with the objective of calling attention to the influence mothers have on the health and nutrition of their children.

I am increasingly disturbed by these 'stars' pushing milk. Guess they don't actually learn a thing, huh? I wish people would educate themselves about milk. Not one species drinks milk after weaning except humans. And not one species drinks milk of another species except humans. And milk that is natural for a calf is NOT natural and doesn't have the correct balance for humans. Milk doesn't add Vitamin D nor calcium. It doesn't ascimilate. The Vitamin D added to milk is the wrong kind. The cows milk (and goats milk) actually LEACHES VITAMIN D AND CALCIUM from the body. It's not something any human should drink.

Susan, I echo your comments. The Dairy Association is only interested in making money, and treating animals like slaves. This industry uses celebrities to glorify this madness. A calf drinks it's mother's milk to grow up to be a cow , 600-700 lbs! Ever think that's why America and our youth is so overweight. and how about eggs?..treating hens like machines, and eating their unfertilized embryos!! Get real everyone!!!!!!

Uh, overweight youth has nothing to do with milk. It has more to do with lack of exercise, lack of play, supersized everything and parents letting them eat anything they please. Kids have been drinking milk for a LONG time, and this epidemic of childhood obesity is a fairly new problem.
