'Father Albert,' the new talk show hosted by former Miami Catholic priest-turned Episcopalian man of the cloth Albert Cutie, will no doubt play host to some strange guests and equally bizarre stories. The most recent show, which aired Wednesday, is likely to rank high among those.
There is a love story. And you'll no doubt recognize the Romeo in this twisted tale of Romeo meets, Courtney? Don't blink. Her name is Courtney Alexis Stodden. On its face, the story seems straightforward. She's a beauty queen and an aspiring singer-actress from Washington state. He's an actor best known for his role as the sniveling, pathetic and abusive corrections officer Percy Wetmore in the Tom Hanks hit movie 'The Green Mile' and, more recently, as Horace Goodspeed on 'Lost.'
But the love story takes a creepy turn quickly when you learn actor Doug Hutchison, who is 51, married Stodden, who is the ripe old age of...16. And it gets weirder.
Stodden has alleged that she is the victim of Internet bullying, after being called a "fake," "vain" and a "slut." The aspiring country singer has taken heat on YouTube for the video to her song 'Car Candy,' in which she is seen gyrating on top of a convertible in a tank top singing, "Your fuel injection really turns me on."
Musings about how the couple met are no surprise, including the fact she is signed to Hutchison's Dark Water production company. What is startling is that both her mother and father, Krista and Alex Stodden, approve of the marriage, which was held in – big shocker – Las Vegas. Krista Stodden even signed off on a consent form approving the union. Although the age of consent in Vegas is 16, the bride and groom must be 18 to marry legally in Clarke County.

The couple appeared on 'Father Albert' saying that a higher power brought them both together. "God connects us," the 'Green Mile' actor told Cutie. "When you meet that someone you love, there's something inside that's leading you toward that person," Hutchison said. That something might be the very young Stodden's pornstar looks, which again add credence to the creepy factor.
Stodden, a blonde model with an ample bosom that was, in part, the reason for the Internet bullying "fake" comment, said, "God blessed me with a beautiful gift. He blessed me with my soulmate."
For the record, the couple claims they did not have sex until they were officially married. Not that it makes the story any less creepy. Stodden, who comes from a Christian upbringing, even claims she remained a virgin until she was married, which the couple announced Monday. They officially married in May.
Hutchison, who is also the author of a memoir titled, 'Hey, Guess What? Tom Hanks' Sh*t Smells, Too!' gushes about his bride on the show, saying, "One of the reasons we work is because Courtney is 16 going on 36, and I'm 51 going on 21. So we conversely sort of meet somewhere in the middle."
LOL. That's funny. All kidding aside, it certainly is strange. But, he has not broken the law AND has the parents consent. Who gives a sh*t. If this passes for news, we are in seriously trouble. NOBODY finds that a man of the cloth is hosting a talk show??
