Determined to realize her role and keep the crown that Mexico earned last year with the triumph of Ximena Navarrete in the Miss Universe pageant, Karin Ontiveros says she's ready to travel to Sao Paolo, Brazil, where Miss Universe 2011 will be held September 12^th.

According to information released Thursday by Mexican news agency Notimex, the Mexican beauty took part in a proper sendoff for her at a cocktail party organized by friends and family, who gathered to wish the 5-foot-9, 23 year old from Amatitan, Jalisca good luck; the statuesque beauty was, of course, referring to her participation in the pageant...

"Mexico is well represented, and I'm going with the idea of winning, I'm prepared," Karin said, grateful to have enjoyed her brief farewell with loved ones.

Meanwhile, Lupita Jones, director of the pageant, said that although this year the challenge is greater thanks to Ximena Naverrete's triumph, she counts on Karin's solid performance and
describes her as very disciplined, committed and surrendered in heart to her dreams...
