Miss Universe 2011 beauties

As Brazil hosts 89 of the most beautiful women in the world in anticipation of the Miss Universe 2011 event, the bevy of beauties once again donned their bikinis at the Morumbi district Hilton in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A country already known the world over for some of the most beautiful women on Earth now has even more reason to shine.

And it needs it, as its own beauty in the prestigious pageant was robbed at gunpoint back in July -- in front of her home.

In spite of that, each one of these presentations is an opportunity for the jury to judge not only the physical attributes of each candidate, but also to discover how each develops into her own as an ambassador to her country to become the next Miss Universe.
