On a whirlwind media tour to promote his animated film Puss in Boots, actor Antonio Banderas visited one of the most-watched shows on Hispanic TV, Mira Quien Baila, or MQB, the Latino version of Dancing With the Stars, where he once again connected with one of his biggest fans, the show's co-host Chiquinquira Delgado.
Delgado seems to have it bad for Hollywood actors, after she managed to get Tom Hanks to dance back in June on Spanish-language morning show Despierta America.
Antonio returned to the hot seat, catching Delgado's eye once more, after his visit a few months ago in which he took Delgado for a flamenco spin. The obvious chemistry between the two couldn't be more obvious as Antonio's eyes tend to wander down to the sexy Venezuelan's backside. Sunday's MQB proved no different.
He needed no introduction, but he got one fitting of a joker. With a brunette dancer who was really, really hot -- for a guy. Delgado introduced her special guest at the beginning of the Univision show. But she wasn't his dance partner, yet. That was none other than veteran actor and former TV motorcycle cop Erik Estrada.

The Spaniard isn't just a great actor, he can also dance.
With Estrada proving to be a formidable competitor and adored by the judges, Antonio had his hands full, literally, flanked by an amazing choreographed intro as snippets of his new film, Puss in Boots, played on a circular screen behind the dazzling dance number. Although we expected to see Antonio take the stage with Spanish swagger, only to be critiqued by the show's judges, Horatio Villalobos, Lili Estefan and Bianca Marroquin, that didn't exactly happen, no doubt to the disappointment of some viewers.
He made a spectacular entrance, though. As the choreography, complete with Spanish guitar in the background, roared on to a close, Antonio took to the stage with a boom of pyrotechnics.
Asked about the success of the Puss in Boots character, Antonio said the sword-wielding orange tabby cat with a familiar accent went solo as a result of the hugely popular, computer-animated Shrek series of films.
"I did not expect this to be such a great character on his own," he told the sexy Chiquinquira Delgado. "It's amazing to be able to make people laugh these days, given how things are around the world."

Even though he turned down "Erika" Estrada for a dance at the beginning of the show, he knew better than to turn down Chiquinquira. Delgado asked the charming actor if he saw himself competing on MQB sometime soon. For a moment, the audience caught Antonio fighting not to look at Delgado's ample bosom. However, he politely left his future with MQB up in the air, saying that because of his booked schedule over the next few years, he wasn't sure he'd be able to. Antonio has no less than four films in the works right now, which include directing and producing roles. He also said he's planning a stint on Broadway.
Antonio didn't completely disappoint. Egged on by co-host Javier Poza, Delgado, and a cheering crowd, he had no choice but to strut his stuff, keeping a close eye on his biggest fan's backside and proving he could one day compete respectably on MQB. Let's keep our fingers crossed. And let's hope the very publicly jealous Melanie Griffith, Antonio's wife, is none the wiser.
