Just a few days from now, on Jan. 28, Univision debuts '¡Q' Viva! The Chosen,' the reality show that searches for talent throughout Latin America and produced by Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, which they began realizing and giving life to when they were married.
On Saturday, Jennifer and Marc officially presented the show to critics, along with granting interviews.
It was the first time the two were seen publicly after the official announcement of Marc's romance to Venezuelan beauty Shannon de Lima but a far cry from awkward and tense. The pair arrived together, even embraced on more than once occasion, joking and walking together hand in hand. They also spoke candidly about each other and their relationship.
Throughout the presentation, Marc was a complete gentleman and, although he was staying at the same hotel -- with several floors between them -- they were unified before critics. Marc knew exactly when to offer his hand to help Jennifer up a flight of stairs, fetch her coat when she was cold, walk together holding hands from one room to the next, so that she wouldn't fall in her heels, even complimenting her four rings in the shape of a star in her left hand.
On Sunday evening, the two were featured on the Univision show, 'Sal y Pimienta' (Salt and Pepper), with host Lourdes Stephen. She interviewed each of them, and Marc said, "The beginning sounded different. Our relationship is super natural. In our search for talent, I wasn't surprised with my choices. She [Jennifer] was going to react the same way as me when I saw them [the talent] because we both have a certain sense, which hasn't yet been a problem. We work really well together."
Jennifer went a little deeper, saying "We have been friends for years, before, and after, we got married. The thing about Marc is you have to know when to say 'enough.' But I have to be the one to say 'OK.' After being married for so long, I know how to deal with him. All the stories people write about us hurt us both because we're friends. We have kids to raise, which is the most beautiful thing. This show will reveal to everyone that there is real love between us. We have two children that force us to be together and make us feel special." Can you see Marc and Jennifer back together?
