You would think that Shakira and her boyfriend, soccer star Gerard Pique, crossed a black, skinny cat in their path, given their recent luck. This weekend, Shakira was on vacation with her brother when she was bitten on the hand by a sea lion. Now, Pique was involved in an auto accident.Pique was on his way to Camp Nou on Monday morning, ahead of a trip to Germany before the first leg of his side's Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen, when his car was struck by another vehicle.
Although his driver's-side door was badly damaged, the former Manchester United star walked away from the crash without any serious injuries.
Fortunately, nothing happened to Pique because the incident allegedly occurred while the car was parked. A public bus passed too close and struck his vehicle.

Yep, right up there with those weeks i've had. when my mom died in 1976 or my dad in in 1985 or that time that my hubby was deployed and instead of giving me a new lease, my landlord kicked us out, to be out in 3 weeks (i had 3 kids all under the age of ten, 1996) all because that they wanted to rent the house to their son. Yep, getting HURT in a car wreck trumps a 10 year old girl's mother DYING in a car wreck. Getting bit by a sea lion so trumps having an ultra preemie @ 28 weeks gestation (1992) or even going through 40 hours of labor (1988) I feel SO sobbing sorry for them!
