Salma Hayek leaves Berlin International Film Festival Awestruck (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
Salma Hayek's appearance at the Berlin International Film Festival caused quite a stir and left the red carpet awestruck, causing a sensation not just among the foreign press, but also among fans who clamored to snap a photo or get an autograph.
The furor was such that the event held for the film 'La Chispa de la Vida,' (or 'As Luck Would Have It') presented worldwide and directed by Spaniard Alex de la Iglesia, screened 40 minutes late as Salma graciously attended to fans and reporters.
Salma was also in great spirits, which was obvious at the press conference for the film, where she accidentally, and quite literally, butted heads with director Iglesias. Ouch! Check out the images.
She took her time to sign autographs, offer up kisses and also interview, even though Iglesias, and her cinematic costars, José Mota and Carolina Herrera were all ready to go.
'La Chispa de la Vida,' the original title of the film, was well received to raving applause from the crowd packing the Friedrichstadt Palast.
Throughout the conference, she was also part of a curious moment in which she realized that some photographers still wanted to snap her picture, when she got a bit too close for a shot with director de la Iglesias and hit his forehead, even knocking them out of place, before everyone share a laugh in the moment.
