For the first time, Ricky Martin poses with his twins, Matteo and Valentino, and Carlos Abello, his partner for four years, in a lovely photo shoot for Vanity Fair Spain, where he also opened up about his love and family life.

During the interview, the "Livin' la vida loca" singer talked about what was his love life like before he confessed he is gay: "I slept with women and fell in love with them and felt wonderful things."

"There was love, passion. I don't regret any of the relationships I've had, with both men and women, they've taught me so much," he admitted.

Since Ricky Martin came out in 2010, he has enjoyed life with a lot more freedom and he has even made public his partner's name: Carlos González Abella, but is still very cautious when talking about him.

However, during an interview with The Advocate magazine, the singer --who is currently getting ready to make his return to Broadway in the revival of "Evita"-- talked openly about González: "I think he's so sexy. He is very smart. That is such a turn-on".

Trasandes, escribió una carta en donde quiere dejar bien en claro el peligro que representa para las personas gays, sus familias y toda la sociedad, el tipo de declaraciones como las de Nancy Alvarez e invita a la querida sexóloga dominicana a vertir ese tipo de opiniones en su entorno más íntimo,pues Mónica expresa que no hay ningún estudio que indique que la orientación gay o heterosexual sea influida por las acciones de los padres como expresa Alvarez: "La orientación, sea gay o heterosexual, es algo con lo cual uno nace", nos afirma. Luego de la polémica que se desató cuando María Elena Salinas preguntó, vía Twitter '¿el gay, nace o se hace?" y Ricky Martin le contestó que 'nacen' y le cuestionó la misma pregunta, pero sobre los heterosexuales, la doctora Nancy Alvarez se mete en el tema y dice su parte.


Como sexóloga, Nancy asegura, que ella tiene la autoridad para dar la respuesta a esto y que un gay no nace, sino que se hace según las circunstancias de su vida. Además, la doctora Alvarez dice basarse en estudios científicos que demuestran eso y que hasta el momento, ninguna investigación arroja lo contrario.

Esos sí, para que no se enoje Ricky, Nancy dice que lo ama y que cuando estrene obra en Broadway, ella será la primera en viajar para verlo y darle un beso.

Martin and Gonzalez will presumably wed in the U.S. city, which approved same-sex marriages in June. He obtained Spanish citizenship in November in what was thought to be an effort to marry Gonzalez.

Ricky Martin announced his sexual orientation in March 2010 and has expressed his support for same-sex marriages. The singer also said in June that he favors homosexual marriage in Puerto Rico, where it is still illegal.

Singer Ricky Martin has obtained Spanish citizenship and thanked the government in a written statement.

Apparently, the Puerto Rican singer had applied for citizenship in March, noting that his grandmother is Iberian with a home in Madrid. He also established friend and model Esther Cañadas' home as a residence.

Many say that this measure to obtain citizenship was in an effort to marry boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez, although there was no direct mention of any alleged wedding plans.

"I made the request for Spanish citizenship some time ago, I was just waiting for a response. This step is part of planning for the future within a global community of whom I am part. I was born in Puerto Rico. That is my country. Spain is a country with which I share many memories and strong ties born of my roots and the love they have given me since I first visited."
