Jaime Camil fue invitado a tener el honor de cantar el Himno Nacional Mexicano este 5 de mayo en la pelea de box de Saúl 'El Canelo' Alvarez en Las Vegas. En conferencia de prensa, el actor confesó que lo que más lo preocupa es olvidarse de la letra.

Para que esto no le suceda, Camil está a diario escuchando el Himno Nacional de su país y practicando para que no le pase lo mismo que a otros famosos, tal el último caso de Shakira, sin embargo a otros muchos lo que le preocupa no es si se le olvida una palabrita, sino si lo cantará entonado y sin ningún gallito de por medio, conste que no nos referimos al Cristian Castro.

Parece que Shakira, y aquel error que cometió en días pasados durante la VI Cumbre de las Américas, seguirá dando de qué hablar.

Y es que luego de haberse convertido en el blanco de las críticas por haber cambiado algunas palabras al Himno Nacional de Colombia, ahora ha servido de fuente de inspiración para los creadores de videojuegos.

Shakira appeared last Saturday in Cartagena, Colombia, at the center of the platform of the VI Summit of the Americas', with all the formality required for its opening, to give her own rendition of Colombia's National Anthem in front of the leaders of the Americas.

However, her performance was not as perfect and successful as usual, since the singer changed some words and critics over Twitter and Facebook didn't wait to attack, especially Colombians, who wondered if Shakira had already forgotten the anthem.

Con toda la seriedad que requiere ser la responsable de abrir la VI Cumbre de las Américas en Cartagena, Shakira se presentó muy propia al centro del estrado para interpretar este sábado frente a los mandatarios de América el Himno Nacional de Colombia.

Sin embargo la presentación de la estrella colombiana, no tuvo el éxito que suele acompañarla, y es que las críticas no se hicieron esperar a través de la redes sociales, al notarse que algunas palabras había sido cambiadas...

Shakira will soon release a video for her song 'Addicted To You,' and she wants fans to take a peek at an image capture from the video.

The single, off the Barranquilla, Colombia singer's highly successful seventh album 'Sale el Sol,' which was released in 2010, is the latest off the Dominican-Colombian-inspired bilingual album, which has sold more than 2 million copies.

True to form, the next video promises to be as evocative as the one shot for the first single 'Loca' off the album. The singer shared this image capture on her Whosay account.

Jonathan Trujillo, a young singer, has taken an unusual route to try and raise the cash needed to offer a reward for information leading to his missing father. Trujillo is appearing on national, televised talent show - 'Colombia's Got Talent' – and trying to win the cash prize by performing an impressive impersonation of Shakira.

Dressed like the Barranquilla-born icon, Trujillo first hid his face behind a mask, surprising the show's audience and jury when he removed it and revealed the dramatic reasons why he decided to impersonate Shakira and enter the competition.

Shakira compartió con sus seguidores en las redes sociales su encuentro con Bill Gates, fundador de Microsoft. Todo indica que la barranquillera se reunió con el millonario empresario para apuntalar detalles de un proyecto benéfico para niños de bajos recursos.

La artista escribió en su cuenta de Facebook que el dueño de Microsoft está involucrado y luchando con aquellos problemas que más aquejan al mundo moderno.

Tanto Shakira como Bill Gates están involucrados en proyectos filantrópicos y la cantante ha mantenido una destacable labor con su fundación Piez Descalzos, que provee ayuda económica especialmente para el desarollo escolar en países pobres y Colombia, el lugar de nacimiento de la cantante.

Shakira found an unlikely photo opportunity, which she published in both her Twitter and Facebook pages, with none other than Microsoft chief executive and philanthropist Bill Gates.

From her Twitter page, Shakira wrote: "Bill Gates is attacking some of the worst problems in the world with the belief that all lives are of equal value," the Barranquilla, Colombia native wrote about her encounter with Gates.

According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Gates was scheduled to meet today with Spanish President Mariano Rajoy to strengthen ties between the Spanish government and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Among the topics up for discussion were agriculture, health and hygiene.

Pop star Shakira's relationship to Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique is going better than excellent, so it's no surprise to anyone that there have been rumors swirling for a while about the possibility of the couple taking the next step: marriage.

As rumors that they might be headed for the altar continue to spread, Pique was quoted Monday by the Associated Press saying that, for the moment, marriage is something they won't do, yet.

You would think that Shakira and her boyfriend, soccer star Gerard Pique, crossed a black, skinny cat in their path, given their recent luck. This weekend, Shakira was on vacation with her brother when she was bitten on the hand by a sea lion. Now, Pique was involved in an auto accident.

Pique was on his way to Camp Nou on Monday morning, ahead of a trip to Germany before the first leg of his side's Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen, when his car was struck by another vehicle.

Although his driver's-side door was badly damaged, the former Manchester United star walked away from the crash without any serious injuries.

Fortunately, nothing happened to Pique because the incident allegedly occurred while the car was parked. A public bus passed too close and struck his vehicle.

Pues cualquiera pensaría que a Shakira y Piqué se les ha cruzado un gato negro y flaco en el camino, pues la suerte no parece estar de su lado. Este fin de semana a la cantante barranquillera la mordió un león marino en una mano, y ahora a su novio, Gerard Piqué le chocan el auto.

Afortunadamente al novio de Shakira no le sucedió nada, pues el incidente ocurrió mientras el coche se encontraba estacionado y un autobús pasó tan cerca que logró embestir el vehículo.

El futbolista apenas pudo reparar en los daños del vehículo pues tenía que dirigirse al aeropuerto para un vuelo a Alemania con el resto de los jugadores.

According to People en Español, Colombian singer Shakira was walking with her brother, Tonino, on vacation at an undisclosed location when they came upon a group of sea lions. The singer went to pet one of the wild animals and was bitten. Luckily, her brother intervened and she wasn't hurt seriously. Here's what she had to say about it.

"This afternoon, I was looking tenderly at some seals and sea lions, when I decided to get closer than the other tourists. Recklessly, I lowered onto a rock to pet them and see them up close. Suddenly, one of them jumped out of the water very fast and with such force that the next thing I knew, all I saw was a fin in front of me. It looked at me, made an impetuous sound and tried to bite me."

Al parecer, Shakira es más aventurera de lo que pensamos. De paseo con su hermano, Tonino, en un destino vacacional que no mencionó, la cantante intentó acercarse a las focas y a los leones marinos, aventura que resultó en desastre cuando uno de los mamíferos la atacó. Afortundamente, no ocurrió nada grave, pues su hermano se interpuso y la salvó. A continuación lo que la barranquillera compartió de su desventura en Facebook.

"Esta tarde, estaba mirando enternecida las focas y los leones marinos, cuando decidí acercarme a ellos incluso más que los otros turistas. Imprudentemente me bajé a una roca para acariciarles y verles de cerca. De repente, uno de ellos saltó del agua tan rápido y con tanta fuerza que de pronto lo que vi fue tan solo un palmo frente a mí. Me miró, hizo un ruido impetuoso e intentó morderme".

In her conquest of the universe, one hip shake at a time, Colombian pop diva Shakira is setting her sights on the big screen, with what she hopes will be a starring role in an upcoming Bollywood flick titled 'Desire.'

Directed by Academy Award nominee Enamul Karim Nirhar, the film will likely be shot in Scotland, according to The Daily Record . Shakira is also in talks to record the film's soundtrack with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.

The multi-instrumentalist and belly dancer recently turned 35, and although she's dominated the Latin and English-speaking music charts for years, particularly with such hits as 'Whenever, Wherever,' 'Underneath Your Clothes' and the more recent, 'Hips Don't Lie,' earning four American Music Awards, six Billboard Music Awards and two Grammys, including earning Latin Grammy's Person of the Year last year, she remains a true icon in her philanthropic enterprises, with her children's Pies Descalzos Foundation, which she started at 19. And she wants to make her mark in Bollywood.
