May 3rd 6:09 PM: (Note: Originally I posted this on SL forums, but since they censor stuff like this, I am reposting anywhere I can find it. I was at the THM, and it was a farce. Nothing worked, they screened questions, gave political squirmroom answers, and basically said "we suck". So having said that, here is my biggest beef:)
So let me get this straight. All of the huff about this THM, and still all you can say about inventory loss is that a) it’s your fault, and b) you don’t have to do anything about amending already lost stuff, but you will try oh so hard to not let it happen anymore, which by the way came with a sideswipe about how it’s our own fault for having so much inventory.
This is not acceptable. Period. I spent money and it is gone, and you have yet to offer a fix. Not a bug fix, but a “hey, our customers just got reamed because we screwed up” fix.
Show me any other business where this is acceptable practice.
Linden Labs has proven less than worthy, folks, sorry. Good dream, poor product.
Is anybody else with me on a general strike? I have already downgraded my account, which ironically, led to other unethical practices from Linden Labs, such as taking away my premium rights but not giving me my money back, though I am paid up till JUNE 5TH.
